Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Data & Analytics, located in Raynham, MA. This role is part of the planned separation of our Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that following the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes.

About the role

The SFA, FP&A Data & Analytics plays a critical role in enabling informed, data-driven decision making across the DePuy Synthes organization. This role partners closely with finance and business leaders to deliver high-quality financial planning, forecasting, and performance insights, leveraging advanced analytics to support strategic and operational priorities. The position offers strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence business outcomes through actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and deliver financial and operational performance analyses, including variance analysis, trend identification, and key driver insights.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to improve visibility into financial performance and decision support.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases using data-driven insights.
  • Apply advanced analytics and financial modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities through automation and standardization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
  • MBA, Master’s degree, or advanced analytics coursework (preferred).
  • Typically 2–4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related analytics-focused finance role.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., ERP, planning systems, BI tools).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, supply chain, or MedTech/Healthcare business.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to automation, advanced analytics, or digital finance initiatives.
  • Prior experience partnering directly with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • CPA, CFA, or similar financial certification (preferred).

English language proficiency is required. Up to ~10% domestic travel.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $79,000.00 - $127,650.00.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

  • Time Off Benefits:
    • Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado residents, 56 hours for Washington residents)
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
    • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
    • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
    • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period
    • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
    • Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
