Sexual Abuse Litigation Attorney

About the role

The firm is seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a growing sexual abuse litigation practice in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate case merits and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings.
• Research applicable laws, statutes, and case law.
• Provide client counseling throughout the litigation process.
• Supervise and coordinate support staff as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Experience in sexual abuse preferably in federal court.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
