Sewing Technician-Upholstery

About the role

KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening on our first shift in our Upholstery Department for a Sewing Technician.

Responsibilities

• Join, topstitch, and c-jex material for all multi-functional chair and stool lines with quality output.
• Be able to rotate between both sewing and working the c-jex machines.
• Use hands continuously during the entire shift.
• Be able to troubleshoot problems with sewing machinery, rethread machines, wind bobbins, and adjust edge guides.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Have good eye/hand coordination.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have attention to detail to provide good quality products.
• Be able to read a tape measure up to 1/32" frequently.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial sewing experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a drug screen required.

Pay

Starting wage is $19.00, with a $.50 increase after 6 months.
