Sewing Machinist

This position reports to the Operations Manager and will work in our Manchester, Vermont factory. About The Position The purpose of this position is to manufacture bedding, sheets, shower curtains, pillows, bed throws, towels blinds, Curtains and other soft furnishings as requested to the highest quality standards. Your Main Responsibilities Manufacture Dometic products to a high standard in a timely mannerRead and interpret order, drawings, and patterns to position, fold, and match fabric pieces accuratelyTrain with current team to complete training on details of each product to achieve high quality itemsSet up and run industrial sewing machines and carry out routine maintenance.Prepare, sew, and press finished items for packaging, using sewing machines, irons and all other equipment provided by following standard or bespoke manufacturing process methods and instructionsEnsure that products are made to the highest quality at all times by continual attention to detail and visual inspection to find inconsistencies in fabric or stitchingEnsure all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed at all times and take personal responsibility for your own health and safety and that of co-workers.To follow all company policies and procedures, laws and guidelinesUndertake other tasks as may be requested from time to time by the Manager or Directors of Dometic US Blind Systems Ltd What do we offer?
