Sewing Inspector
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of finished product to ensure: ½ “ seams
- Stitches are straight
- Ensure there are no skipped stitches
- Ensure piece is sewn to specifications
- Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather
- Measure Welt for correct length using a ruler
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
- Manufacturing Experience
- Preferred Experience Requirements: Experience in furniture manufacturing
- Minimum Education Requirements: Less than High School
- Preferred Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required Skills: Must be able to read a ruler, Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including ability to describe and convey nonconformance issues is required, Strict attention to detail is a must, Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude, Must be able to work with minimum supervision, Must have your own reliable transportation, Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime, Must be reliable, Must have strong English language skills, including: Reading, Comprehending, Speaking, Writing, Communication, Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes, Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime
- Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes
- Must adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.
