Position Overview
This is a Night Shift position with 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 4am. The normal work hours for this position are 12 hour rotating shifts. Overtime might be required.
What you'll do
- Inspect – Look, measure allowance, trim threads for various sizes and quantity of products following production orders and proper inspecting procedures.
- Identify and set aside any fabric deviation, flaw, hole, shade, or workmanship defect.
- Load and sew fabric onto the inspection frame with a tugger.
- Maintain and understand quality requirements for each piece.
- Material labeling – Appropriately mark, identify, and label all pieces as required and enter information into a data base.
- Pre-wrap the rolls after being inspecting.
- Daily cleanliness task of area and tools – Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
- Inspect and complete all paperwork for fabric and prepare for shipping.
- Record readings for inspections and download into computer, will be responsible for entering timely and accurate data in the database.
Who you are
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a similar position / environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to manage your time
- The ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- The ability to frequently stand, forward reach, and lift as needed
