Essential Functions

• Selecting all of the equipment needed for the sewing process, including setting up the machine and its peripherals, and using the tools correctly.
• Monitoring machine operation, which can include fixing attachments like needles, threads, pattern plates or cutting blades.
• Inspecting the product after it has been rendered.
• Keeping record of the orders processed.
• Setting apart quality passed garments.
• Setting apart defective or lower-quality garments for correction or disposal.
• Ensuring that textile parts are in correct sequences and confirming that the color lots and textile patterns match.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to manually lift and stack products that ranges from 5 pounds to 65 pounds.
• Sit, stand, bend, climb, lift, or walk for extended periods of time.
• The work element is in a temperature controlled environment.
• Must be capable of working additional hours and up to seven days a week, as needed.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
