About the role

Responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years old. Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily activities that promote learning and development in children.
• Assess children's progress and communicate with parents about their child's development.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Valid Colorado teaching license.
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Experience with age-appropriate educational materials and resources.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Pass a background check and health screening.

Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
