Setup Technician/Delivery Driver
About the role
This technical position is responsible for assembly and preparation of equipment, the delivery and removal of office equipment at/from our clients. The Clients first impression of the service and support UBEO provides is critical to our business relationship and Client loyalty and as such, this individual is expected to efficiently execute setup procedures and maintain strict quality control of the products intended for delivery. Also responsible for proper handling, loading and transporting of equipment and maintaining proper contact with the customer, dispatch and sales personnel. Works closely with all other employees to ensure deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Ensures all paperwork is completed accurately and timely. Assist with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Follow established Setup Procedures specific to the product and manufacture
- Maintain high level quality control in the equipment preparation process to ensure that all devices are functioning according to manufacture specifications
- Update and maintain equipment firmware levels, service mode settings and user settings
- Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free
- Provide accurate documentation and activity reporting
- Follow all established safety policies
- Maintain clean and safe environment
- Complete daily delivery and pick-up of office product equipment
- Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive, and professional
- Adhere to safe driving regulations
- Keep inventory neat, clean and organized in and out of the warehouse
Requirements
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Will be required to take a post offer drug test
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
Qualifications
- Level of Education: High School or GED
- Job Related Formal Education: None Required
- Job Related Experience: Technical Related Experience Preferred
