Setup Specialist I
Job Description
The Set Up Specialist I, will oversee the set up of area equipment and resolving issues that may occur. The setup specialist will work closely with technicians to train and mentor personnel to ensure setups are done correctly and consistently across all shifts by communicating and partnering with peer setup specialists.
The specialist analyzes present and proposed manufacturing processes and technologies to determine improvements to set up processes, equipment tooling, and automation to optimize manufacturing processes, meet present and new regulations, reduce rejects, and increase yields.
The specialist will investigate any equipment related challenges in collaboration with line QA and Manufacturing personnel. The specialist will provide operations support during new process machineabilities and make recommendations for optimized operation. The specialist will investigate incidents in collaboration with line QA and Manufacturing personnel. The specialist will identify and implement CAPAs as applicable.
Qualifications
- High School and Equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 2 Years’ Manufacturing Experience required.
- Lear principal certifications (Six Sigma or otherwise) preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- SAP, MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Shift D; Friday-Sunday and E/O Thursday 6pm – 6am
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Wage: $27.36-34.18 per hour + 15% shift differential with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
