Responsibilities
- Ensure bill is eligible for MCS review
- Handle/organize bills to be entered timely, proficiently, and accurately into internal system
- Communicate any special handling of each claim
- Maintain production standards and production requirements
- Comply with standard protocol for processing problem claims
- Responsible for high profile clients, including production, QC, communications, etc.
- May assist with training new employees
- Function as back-up for filter or filter leads
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
- Assist co-workers, supervisor and management in accomplishing production goals
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications and performance of duties
- Additional duties as assigned

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to review departmental work product for quality and correct when applicable

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year office experience
- Data Entry experience
Pay
CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during the interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $13.38 - $20.36 per hour
