Setroute Administrator - Brownsville, TX

About the role

This role assists project field engineering with data automation and tool maintenance activities, manual data entry in construction automation tools, and reviewing engineering and construction data for quality and completeness.

The goal is to contribute to enhancing construction processes through technology integration and increased efficiency and precision in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Performs review of engineering and construction data for quality and completeness in support of one or more Field Engineering / Field Supervision disciplines on a small to medium project
• Performs data and automation tool maintenance activities under the direction/guidance of the Construction Automation Specialist/Lead or Lead Field Engineer
• Performs manual data entry in construction automation tools under the direction/guidance of the Construction Automation Specialist/Lead or Lead Field Engineer
• Vendor data and take offs
• Quantity progress reporting
• Work package status
• Punch listing and turnover

Requirements

• Associate degree or related technical training
• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant work experience

Qualifications

• Experience in both direct hire and subcontract environments is preferred
• Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures is preferred
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred
• Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including InfoWorks, Setroute, TEAMWorks, BPS, PTR, eSub and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects is an asset
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability

Skills

Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, as well as working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, are required.
