Admissions Requirements

• Traditional BSN Program (High School Applicants & Transfers):
  • Minimum high school GPA: 3.6 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA for transfer applicants: 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Required high school science coursework: at least one unit in biology and one unit in chemistry
  • Science prerequisite courses must be completed at a two- or four-year college/university within the past five years, with a grade of B or better
• Pre-Nursing (Pre-Major) Track:
  • Complete 30 credit hours in the first year at Seton Hall
  • Earn at least a C in ENGL 1202 (English II)
  • Earn at least a C+ in BIO 1122/1123 and BIO 1133/1134 (biology courses)
  • Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Accelerated (Second-Degree) BSN Program (14-month ABSN):
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) across all college/university coursework
