About the role

As a Set-Up Technician, you’ll help keep our production equipment running smoothly by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machines for each job. You’ll support line setup, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient production. Your mechanical know-how and attention to detail help us deliver the products people love — with care and consistency.

Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment
  • Set up and operate manufacturing and packaging machines
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to support productivity
  • Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime
  • Monitor and optimize lines during production runs
  • Match labels with batch records and verify accuracy
  • Maintain inventory of tools and parts
  • Assist operators and maintenance technicians as needed
  • Create or update machine centerline procedures
  • Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience
  • Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
  • Flexible to work overtime based on business needs

Skills

  • Comfortable using computers or tablets
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Able to read, write, and understand English
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Able to adapt to changing tasks and environments

Schedule

  • This role operates on the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM.
  • To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

Pay

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.98, including a $1.50/hour shift differential. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
