Set-up Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Set Up Mechanic with experience working with GE-Fanuc, Allen Bradley, and Siemens equipment, along with basic problem-solving and technical mechanical skills. The role involves process setups from initial installation through to final production, troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform process setups from initial installation through to final production, including up to 50–60 process adjustments.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to assist any shift with setup and process troubleshooting (overtime does not exceed safety limits).
• Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting process setups to prevent poor product quality or equipment/tooling damage.
• Assemble, install, and align tooling into equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Complete projects and assignments as determined by Process Technicians.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in extrusion/thermoforming.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong speaking and presentation skills for effective meetings.
• Mechanical aptitude and spatial-relationship pretest required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high technical proficiency.
• Capability to work 12-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Attention to safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Pay range is $26.65 to $36.24 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
