About the role
Sun City Lincoln Hills is hiring a dependable Set Up Technician to support community events and facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up tables, chairs, staging, and AV equipment for events (indoor and outdoor).
- Ensure room setups match reservation requirements.
- Move furniture, equipment, and storage items.
- Perform light cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, windows.
- Aid with basic facility maintenance and simple repairs.
- Operate equipment such as vacuums, buffers, hand tools, and vehicles.
- Support staff and residents with friendly, professional service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 13 years of general work experience; must be 18+.
- Basic knowledge of audio visual systems.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must read, write, and speak English.
- Valid CA driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to stay focused and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the summer during evening hours (3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.).
- During the winter, work would vary depending on scheduled events 8-24 hours per week.
- Work shift would be during day shift (9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.).
