Set-Up Tech (DMNC, 2nd shift)

Responsibilities

• Sets up, changes molds, monitors, and makes adjustments to machines and accessory equipment.
• Makes adjustments and involves the Maintenance Department, when necessary.
• Uses SPC charts and related documentation to monitor processes.
• Troubleshoots process problems.
• Assists with the testing of new products and sets new process parameters.
• Performs TPM and machine repairs, as necessary.
• Supports the department as necessary and works to improve 5S conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a good mechanical aptitude as demonstrated through vocational training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
• Knowledgeable on SPC and production processes.
• Successful completion of technical training, including Lock-Out Tag-Out.
• Machine troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift experience may be required.
