Set up/Tear Down Banquets Full-Time Rotating $16 - $24/hr

About the role

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking team member to join our Banquet Utility team. This role involves setting up and breaking down event spaces, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring everything is in place on time and on point.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, staging, podiums, and other equipment for meetings and events
• Tear down event setups and restore rooms to standard layouts
• Maintain storage rooms, event equipment, and work areas in clean, organized condition
• Assist with bussing, dishwashing, and event cleanup as needed
• Follow room diagrams and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate setup
• Report maintenance issues or equipment concerns to leadership promptly
• Support team members and Servers to ensure efficient event flow
• Complete assigned side work and cleaning tasks on time

Requirements

• One year of experience in hospitality, event setup, or utility support preferred
• Ability to read diagrams and follow setup instructions accurately
• Calm, reliable presence and a positive team attitude
• Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s)

Qualifications

• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process

Skills

• Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Guest needs or event schedules
