Set-up Packaging

Essential Functions

• Inspect codes, labels and proper packaging for finished product
• Ensure boxes are being stacked in a timely fashion
• Count produced boxes going out for distribution
• Maintain working knowledge of all sanitary practices related to GMP and equipment washouts
• Restock necessary tools
• Confirm required materials for production during changeover
• Shrink wrap completed pallets and deliver to assigned area
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Take and give clear instructions
• Fill out daily paperwork
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining packaging line area
• Perform other duties as assigned

  Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food manufacturing experience desired
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with peers and leadership
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality
  • Quick thinking and handling frequent change
  • Detail-oriented with organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

    California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York residents only: The hourly range for this role is $16.50 to $29.19 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
