Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery

Responsibilities

• Read and understand computer pass-out sheets
• Read and understand Special Orders
• Properly distribute product for delivery
• Assist with packaging products to be passed along for delivery to the stores
• Label and package product
• Check quality (appearance) of product
• Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses
• Work under close supervision
• Perform repetitive work that is clearly defined, manual jobs
• Impact own work

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills
• Able to follow directions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible work schedule
• Weekend availability
• Occasional Tuesday, Sunday, and holidays required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Constant bending, stretching, pulling/pushing
• Good eye/hand coordination, repetitive wrist motion

Other Duties

• Clean work areas
• Take out trash
• Mop floors
• Restock packaging and labels
• Variates according to production needs
• Occasionally may have to work in other production areas

Environmental Conditions

• Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher
• Exposure to freezer temperatures of 32 degrees or below
• Noise: loud machines
• Chemicals: cleaning solutions

Schedule

Start time: 8am
Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sunday and Tuesday Off)
Overtime frequent and required
Schedule may change on production needs and holidays
