Servicing Representative

About the role

Canopy Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Servicing Representative to join our Mortgage Servicing team. In this role, you will perform interim mortgage servicing functions while ensuring compliance with investor, agency, and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Generate servicing transfer letters, email them to borrowers, and notify each borrower of the servicing transfer by phone or text using the Slybroadcast system.
• Process insurance correspondence and coordinate mortgagee clause updates with insurance companies.
• Answer incoming borrower calls, promptly return voicemail messages, and resolve customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with the annual preparation and distribution of IRS Form 1098 statements and respond to borrower questions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable investor, agency, regulatory, and company servicing requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in mortgage loan servicing or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn mortgage servicing software and systems.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
