About The Opportunity The Services Manager, General Ledger is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Dayforce General Ledger solutions through a team of consultants. Key responsibilities include project staffing, customer relationship management, and people management. In addition, the Manager contributes to the development of the General Ledger practice and may participate in the sales cycle to determine scope and effort and set expectations for project delivery. What You’ll Get To Do Achieve and Exceed Implementation Targets Ensure team targets are metManage a group of employees and to ensure the on-time delivery of their projects that are primarily in North AmericaSupport the sales cycle through scoping and approval of solutions Increase the Value of the Dayforce Application for Customers Collaborate with Dayforce partners and provide Ceridian sponsorship and governance on partner-led implementationsTeam with Service Delivery Managers and Support teams to promote user adoption and effective use of the General Ledger Guided methodology. Ensure High Customer Satisfaction and Referenceability Ensure adherence to highest quality standards in project delivery consistently utilizing Dayforce tools, techniques, and methodologyManage customer relationships and provide team oversight through Dayforce implementationsSupport project staffing and resource managementMotivate teams to document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge shareDemonstrate thought leadership to resolve customer & business challenges; proactively address project escalationsParticipate in the company’s internal, departmental, and cross-departmental initiatives Increase Engagement and Capabilities of Team Resources Manage and support a team of experienced resources to execute effectively and fulfill practice objectivesLeverage shared implementation services and subject matter experts to augment team core skillsProvide coaching and mentoring to improve performance and drive career developmentBuild team expertise and confidence in project delivery work through real-time feedback and coaching and effective training plansExecute day-to-day administrative tasks such as: project and practice reporting updates, vacation scheduling, expense reporting, etc. in a timely manner Skills And Experience We Value Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles an assetExperience in human capital management applications consulting preferred5+ years in Consultant role with Dayforce an assetStrong background in leading software implementation projectsDemonstrated experience translating customer business requirements into workable software solutionsProven experience in change managementMastery in Microsoft Office productsConsulting and management experience in a SaaS / Cloud computing environmentAbility to effectively implement Dayforce modules an assetAbility to sell the value of Dayforce General Ledger Implementation methodologyExcellent customer relationship and business acumenDemonstrates full competence in business functionAbility to provide direction to multiple projects and manage competing prioritiesExcellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to translate issues into business impacts and propose solutions that produce a win-win outcomeAbility to effectively manage resources and performance to meet current and future demandsAbility to coach and mentor consultants on consulting, solution delivery and change control tools and techniquesAbility to work collaboratively with the Sales team to provide implementation scoping and delivery guidance in the sales cycle What’s In It For You Dayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
