ServiceNow Technical Architect

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a hybrid ServiceNow Technical Architect in Austin, Tx.

About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end ServiceNow implementation at this agency.

• Lead hands-on ServiceNow configuration, development, and integration work while serving in a quality assurance capacity for project deliverables.
• Design and support enterprise-scale ServiceNow architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, SecOps, IRM/GRC, SPM, and HRSD.
• Develop end-to-end automated solutions, including user provisioning, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, reporting, dashboards, and system configuration.
• Provide technical leadership on DevSecOps, CI/CD, ATF, source control, release governance, and enterprise integrations.
• Define and maintain CMDB and CSDM strategy, support governance and data quality, and lead architecture discussions on scalability, modernization, and security.
• Collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders to design integrations, review process flows, and share best practices throughout implementation.

Requirements

• 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, customization, and administration experience across ITSM, ITOM, SAM, ITBM, or similar modules.
• 5 years of experience across key ServiceNow practices and core process areas, including DevOps, SecOps, ITAM, IRM, Change Management, User Provisioning, Incident, Problem, Request, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Email modules.
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing inbound and outbound integrations using Azure AD, trusted sources for SSO, MID Server, REST/SOAP web services, email, and related technologies.
• Experience producing technical documentation, including technical design, implementation, and configuration plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for leading implementation activities, presenting to leadership, and training less experienced staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications.
• Industry/project experience and technical knowledge in Java, JavaScript, SQL, or similar programming languages.

Pay

$68.50/hour W2 contract.

Schedule

• 11-month contract with opportunity for extension.
• Hybrid work arrangement.
