ServiceNow Solutions Architect

About the role

This role serves as an Architect for ServiceNow within IT Services, focusing on the M&A integration of a company. The position is part of the Global Digital & Technology department and is involved in the architectural and process backbone for ongoing IT services transitions related to mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery: Assess current state IT processes, identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
• Translate business and operational needs into clear requirements and recommendations, handing them to the product owner and platform team.
• Produce current-state and future-state process documentation (process maps, workflows, requirements docs).
• Partner closely with the product owner and platform team to ensure proposed solutions align with real operational needs and don’t create downstream process gaps.
• Maintain an ongoing view of the account’s process and architecture landscape beyond any single project.
• Advise on process design as the organization moves towards a product operating model.
• Represent process and architecture considerations in client-facing conversations and steering sessions.

Requirements

• Required ServiceNow certification (e.g., CSA or mainline certification)
• Strong background in IT service management process design
• Experience translating operational/business requirements into technical documentation
• Comfortable operating in a large, complex, politically sensitive corporate client environment

Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills
• Prior experience supporting an M&A-related IT carve-out, spin-off, or investment-company IT transition
• Experience partnering with a separate platform/development team (rather than owning build directly)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for tracking requirements and stories

Skills

• Preferred ITIL certification or strong ITIL process background
• Leverage Lean Six Sigma or other process-improvement methodologies

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/Hr - USD $90.00/Hr.
