Position Summary
We are seeking a QA Analyst / Release Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will support application delivery through testing, release coordination, platform operations, governance activities, and release communications. Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle to review requirements, provide input on testability, and ensure quality checkpoints are met
- Support the implementation of Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation
- Identify, document, validate, and track defects through resolution
- Care for release readiness activities and deployment validation
- Prepare and publish release notes for platform deployments and enhancements
- Track release schedules, change records, and implementation documentation
- Aid with reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain client-required access as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience (or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Required Certifications: ServiceNow CSA preferred
- 3–5 years of QA, software testing, platform operations, release management, or related IT experience
- Domain Experience: Agile software delivery, enterprise platforms, and IT operations, ServiceNow
- Test planning, test execution, defect management, SDLC, Agile methodologies, documentation, release coordination, stakeholder communication
- ServiceNow platform experience, ITIL, Change Management, Release Management, APIs, integrations, basic scripting concepts
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving
