ServiceNow Business Analyst
About the role
The ServiceNow Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, responsible for gathering requirements, defining solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for ServiceNow solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the business units and the technology team.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into solutions across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Service Catalog, and Change Management.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation to support project delivery.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and project teams.
- Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Proven experience in requirements writing and process ownership is necessary.
- Candidates must possess technical expertise to identify where a problem lies without direct developer input.
Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is also needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
