About the role

As a ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will provide architecture advisory, lead platform health initiatives, manage risks, and engage with customers to define and execute their ServiceNow platform strategy. You will also collaborate internally to ensure consistent messaging and contribute to the broader Platform Architect community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct solution design reviews for customer and partner projects.
  • Guide customers in defining their platform roadmap and sequencing workflow adoption.
  • Advise on data architecture integration strategy and platform data model alignment.
  • Advise on AI capabilities, including Now Assist and AI Agents adoption.
  • Deliver accelerators from the architecture accelerator catalog to support customer platform strategy.
  • Demonstrate consistent ethical discipline in AI use across all work.
  • Lead technical governance discussions and establish governance frameworks.
  • Advise customers on technical governance practices to prevent platform health degradation.
  • Interpret platform health outputs across maintainability, performance, security, upgradeability, and user experience.
  • Develop and track prioritized remediation plans for platform health.
  • Advise on identifying and tracking technical debt and driving remediation planning.
  • Proactively identify and track risks across architectural, technical, and platform health dimensions.
  • Assess the impact of risks on the customer’s platform strategy and value realization.
  • Advise customers on mitigation strategies and ensure risks are actively managed.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the customer stakeholder map.
  • Facilitate working sessions, architectural reviews, and executive conversations.
  • Maintain the Customer Impact Plan as a forward-looking platform narrative.
  • Demonstrate platform capabilities in personal or demo instances when needed.
  • Coordinate with Impact Squad members to maintain a consistent customer message.
  • Escalate complex architectural decisions to peers or overlay resources.
  • Leverage Access to Expertise and other Impact entitlements to bring guidance to customers.
  • Contribute knowledge and frameworks to the broader Platform Architect community.

Qualifications

  • Certified System Administrator (Required)
  • Certified Application Developer (Required)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Workflow (Required; minimum 2 expected covering primary and secondary workflow areas)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (Expected)
  • ArchX Advanced Architecture (Required)
  • Certified Technical Architect (Expected; should be in active pursuit)
  • Now Assist Essentials Certification (Required)

Pay

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location, job level, skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Other forms of compensation, such as an annual performance-based bonus or sales incentive pay, may also be provided.
