ServiceNow Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong Java development and system integration experience to support and stabilize a critical ServiceNow-based inventory and job orchestration platform. This individual must be capable of quickly analyzing existing code, troubleshooting complex issues, and independently restoring and maintaining enterprise data integrations across cloud platforms and infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Debug, stabilize, and enhance an existing ServiceNow-based inventory and job framework.
• Analyze and support complex ServiceNow customizations, workflows, integrations, and scheduled jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failures impacting CMDB and inventory data ingestion.
• Partner with enterprise CMDB and inventory management teams to restore and maintain data feeds from platforms such as Azure, AWS, and other enterprise sources.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs, integration services, and job orchestration processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to improve platform reliability and data quality.
• Monitor integration health and proactively address issues to ensure continuous data flow into ServiceNow.
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production support environment.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Development and platform customization.
• Strong Java programming background.
• Experience developing and supporting REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and automated job frameworks.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, and inventory-related processes.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud integration feeds from AWS, Azure, and other enterprise platforms.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to assess existing codebases and quickly become productive in complex environments.
• Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, Discovery, or Service Graph Connectors.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and configuration management practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale CMDB and inventory management environments.

This role requires a hands-on technical expert who can immediately contribute to the stabilization, support, and ongoing enhancement of critical ServiceNow inventory and integration solutions.
