Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend functionality within the ServiceNow platform, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and custom APIs.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom scoped apps.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Develop and enforce coding standards, security best practices, and quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, ServiceNow administrators, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile development sprints, sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development tools.
- Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP, OAuth, MID Servers, etc.
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices.
- Experience with modules like ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Workflows.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow's scripting engine and server-side development.
