ServiceNow Developer

About the role

The ServiceNow Developer will provide ServiceNow expertise and skills to perform architecture design, development, configurations, data transforms/mappings and other enhancements for ITSM, ITAM and ITOM.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute requirements analysis with stakeholders and requestors.
• Translate business needs into clean technical designs.
• Develop and configure functionality to enable automation and orchestration capabilities.
• Develop and configure Playbook Experience to standardize ITSM workflows.
• Develop and configure Catalog Items and supporting Flows.
• Develop and configure ITOM Event Rules, Alert Management Rules and supporting Flows.
• Develop and configure Platform Analytics including Dashboards, Indicators, Breakdowns and Scheduled jobs.
• Collaborate with CMDB team to define, review and implement improvements to mature Discovery, IRE, Agent Client Collector and Service Mapping capabilities.
• Collaborate with SAM team to define, review and implement improvements to mature Model Management and License Metric Compliance capabilities.
• Collaborate with HAM team to define, review and implement improvements to mature Model Management and Asset Estate capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Technical Skills: JavaScript, GlideRecord and scripting fundamentals, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and reusable action/subflow design, Service Catalog and Service Portal development, Import Sets, Transform Maps and data governance, CMDB/CSDM, ITOM, SAM and HAM domain knowledge, Platform Analytics.
• Required Certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), ITIL4 Foundation.

Qualifications

• Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
