ServiceNow Application Developer

About the role

The ServiceNow Application Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications. This includes working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, designing solutions, coding, and deploying applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain ServiceNow applications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure solutions
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
• Deploy applications to production environments
• Perform system testing and debugging
• Document code and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Experience with ServiceNow API and custom scripting
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python)

Qualifications

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of SQL and database design
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
