Service Writer (RV Service Advisor)
About the Role
Service Advisors are at the forefront of the service department, acting as problem‑solvers, a helping hand, and a key player in cultivating relationships with customers. In this role you will be a trusted source and critical to the company’s future success, providing customers with excellent service throughout their entire service experience.
Responsibilities
- Schedule service appointments with customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effectively communicate with customers to determine required RV repair or maintenance.
- Submit repair orders with accurate, detailed descriptions of the repairs and/or maintenance required.
- Assist customers by recommending additional products and services that enhance the overall use of their RV.
- Clearly explain technical issues to customers and how they can be repaired.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience (required).
- Experience with RV or automotive service writing (a plus).
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Extremely detail‑oriented and organized.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
