Service Writer Customer Support Representative

Pay

$28‑32 per hour depending upon experience. Hiring bonus of $1,000.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, Day Shift.

Responsibilities

• Retail focus – Customer Relationship
• Solicit sale of new or additional services
• Strong data entry skills
• Utilize computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims
• Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, and using computer
• Handle/resolve service‑related concerns
• Write clear and informative repair orders
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

• Diesel technician background a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• ASE certifications strongly encouraged
• CDL is a plus
• Ability to create professional relationships with customers
• Ability to stay self‑motivated
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents within the last three years
• No drug or alcohol‑related conviction on driving record in the past five years (e.g., DUI/DWI)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
• Regular use of hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lb, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lb with assistance
• Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
• Ability to read and write reports
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
