Service/Warranty Tech

About the role

At Home Genius Exteriors, we're on pace to reach $500M in Annual Revenue in just 7 years on the market and we’re seeking an experienced, well-rounded Service/Warranty Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for professionals who are proactive, resourceful, and capable of handling a wide variety of residential repair and service needs independently. The ideal candidate has previous business ownership, management, or supervisory experience and takes pride in solving problems quickly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential service and warranty repairs across a variety of exterior home improvement products
• Perform detailed field inspections and document findings with professional written briefs and photos
• Troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions in the field
• Communicate directly with homeowners to resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate and oversee repairs while maintaining high quality standards
• Manage service timelines with urgency and proactive follow-through
• Maintain strong organization and communication with internal teams

Requirements

• Previous business ownership, management, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong general repair and troubleshooting abilities across multiple trades
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Experience handling customer conflict resolution professionally
• Strong written communication skills for inspection summaries and reporting
• Must provide own tools
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and professionalism

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation

• $70,000 Base + Bonuses
