Your Profile
- Educational requirement: High School or GED equivalent.
- Age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.
- Driving experience: Must have at least one (1) year of previous DOT driving experience.
- Communication skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management.
- Physical abilities: Requires a strong sense of direction and knowledge of surrounding areas; must be able to use hand tools; must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Provides technical trouble shooting support for designated client businesses.
- Delivers chemicals as part of the job.
- Manages internal resources necessary to support the business.
- Communicates with workers, engineers, designers, and technicians to maintain effective coordination.
- Performs inventory management to ensure compliance and specifications are met to standard.
- Operates a ¾ or 1 ton pickup with trailer, and maintains the truck and equipment in safe and operable condition.
- Loads trailers and schedules daily runs to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Maintains accurate up-to-date delivery location maps and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Completes work tickets for jobs legibly, timely, and with full detailed description of daily activity.
- Maintains regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards.
- Wears appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operations.
- Improves driving and safety skills through continuous learning and improvement.
- Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis.
- Answers company issued cell phone during on-call hours in accordance with company and safety policies.
