Service Technician - The Colony

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. This role is located in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
• Manages inventory and follows procedures for accessing and returning materials and supplies.
• Documents service requests and maintains accurate records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Supports cost-cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and conserving resources.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing training, and reporting incidents.
• Inspects work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assists in conducting property inspections to maintain the property's condition and address physical needs.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods.
• Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Working in various weather conditions.
• Rare or regular travel to assist other properties.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Certified Service Technicians).
• All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions (all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license for golf carts (if applicable).
