Service Technician & Mechanic - Crane & Heavy Equipment

ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, Inc. Austell, GA - 30168 Position Summary ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, located in Austell is seeking a Crane and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Mechanic. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment is a big plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a shop environment. This position is eligible for a Candidate Sign-On Bonus of $300 payable after 100 days of continuous, successful employment. Essential Functions Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on mobile cranes, heavy duty semi-tractors, and trailersDiagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as neededReads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawingsPrepare proper documentation of actions takenAble to work with diagnostic equipment (i.e. Cummins INSITE) for troubleshooting and repairsMaintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulationsOther duties as assigned Skills And Experience Requirements Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical backgroundStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionMust have basic set of mechanic’s hand toolsExperience with crane assembly and disassembly is highly desiredAbility to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidityAble to lift 50 lbsPrevious experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus Benefits Competitive wages.Paid Time Off and Holidays.Comprehensive Benefits Plans (Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance).401(k) retirement plan with company match.
