Service Technician II (Assistant Maintenance)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician II for our 336-unit apartment community in northwest Houston!

Responsibilities

- Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues including, but not limited to: - A/C and heating systems - Electrical and plumbing - Appliances - Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings - Tile, carpet, flooring - Ceiling leaks

Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience in on-site property maintenance at an apartment community. - Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. - Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call twice a month. - Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus.

Pay & Schedule

- Rate: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position) - Work Days: Monday – Friday - Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
