SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary: Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Location: Canteen, 8220 Enterprise Drive, Wausau, WI 54401 (online applications accepted only).

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using a company‑owned vehicle.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous repair and maintenance experience preferred.

Pay

$26.10 per hour to $28.99 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (full‑time).
