Duties/Results
- Properly operate both common and specialized test equipment in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Properly operate ¾ of a million-dollar test equipment for QA approved Calibration certificates which are NIST traceable.
- Maintain Repair Center facilities, documentation and equipment.
- Performs component level repairs and calibration on field instruments, analytical instruments, Digital Acquisition Systems, TMI and Meter products per YCA standards.
- Accurate and timely completion of all documentation associated with assigned tasks, including entry of quality data on work completed for certifying equality to factory specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Specifications
- Education: Two (2) year degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent, including military.
- Prior Experience: Five (5) years experience in meteorology, service and/or repair environment.
- Specific Skills: Provide technical training to other service technicians through hands-on training. Participate in individual and team problem solving missions and provide management with solutions. Good work ethic skills like tidiness. Experience with Microsoft products, adaptability. Beneficial additional skills, SAP, CRM, and Industrial communication protocols. An understanding of ISO 9000 and ISO 17025 procedures.
