About the role
West Techs Chill Water Specialist is seeking a Service Technician for Commercial and Industrial HVAC work, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air conditioning service, and rental chillers. Responsibilities
The primary job function is to inspect, troubleshoot, and service commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and a positive customer experience. The role also involves collaborating with the Service Manager by sharing recommendations related to training, inventory requirements, and field support needs.
Requirements
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring layouts, and mechanical blueprints
- Knowledgeable in diagnosing and servicing a broad range of HVAC systems using effective troubleshooting methods
- Skilled in evaluating equipment issues and determining appropriate repair or replacement solutions
- Hands-on experience with chillers and commercial HVAC equipment maintenance and repair
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with a proven commitment to accountability, leadership, and team support
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems and a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
Pay
The pay scale for this role is $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required to provide 24/7 emergency coverage, including occasional evenings and weekends.
