Service Technician

Coldstat Refrigeration is seeking a lead technical expert to diagnose and resolve complex refrigeration issues for high-profile commercial and industrial clients. This onsite role in Paramus, NJ offers full-time hours with a family-oriented team and state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures in commercial refrigeration systems to restore client operations.
• Execute precision repairs and installations using state-of-the-art tools and technology.
• Communicate technical issues and logistical needs clearly to the Service Manager to ensure rapid project completion.
• Manage a rotating on-call weekend schedule to provide dedicated emergency support to industrial partners.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that uphold our four-decade legacy of quality and customer dedication.
• Coordinate personal dispatch schedules and equipment transport to ensure on-time arrival at various project sites.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in HVAC/R service and repair.
• Active EPA License for handling refrigerants.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial-grade equipment independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for relaying critical field information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced technical training or certifications in specialized commercial refrigeration systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced field operations environment with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrated history of reliability and punctuality in a mobile service role.

Pay

$32 to $50 per hour plus Year-End Bonus.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
