Service Technician

About the role

Our Culligan dealership is seeking Service Technicians to service existing residential customers. The service department supports post-sale customer needs and serves as a valuable sales tool.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, and repair water softeners, reverse osmosis machines, filtration equipment, and other water treatment systems.
• Use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Communicate with other dealership departments regarding customer information.
• Represent Culligan in the community in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintain professional attitudes with all customers.
• Promote and sell other Culligan products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in water treatment or related fields (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of hydronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle physical demands (lifting up to 185 lbs).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of working experience in a customer service or customer-focused position.
• Valid New York driver's license.
• Safe driving record (background check).
• Pass DOT physical exam.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of hydronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Professional attitude towards customers.

Benefits

• Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts from 6AM-6PM, occasional overtime.

Pay

$22 - $24 USD per hour.
