About the role
As a Service/Installation Technician, you’ll install, service, and troubleshoot advanced dairy, robotic, and refrigeration systems. You’ll join a rotating 24/7 on-call team for emergency repairs, analyze system performance, and build expertise in robotics, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and welding. Training is provided directly with manufacturers and industry professionals, and you’ll deliver outstanding customer service to farmers.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot advanced dairy, robotic, and refrigeration systems
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call team for emergency repairs
- Analyze system performance to ensure high-tech dairy operations run smoothly
- Develop expertise in robotics, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and welding
- Train directly with manufacturers and industry professionals
- Deliver outstanding customer service to farmers
Requirements
- Curiosity and strong mechanical/technical ability
- Willingness to learn dairy systems and cow physiology
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and teamwork
- 1+ years of mechanical experience (required)
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Juneau, WI before starting work (required)
- English language proficiency (required)
