Service Technician

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for its growing team. Ideal candidates should have advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
• Document all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Track all work progress and ensure supervisor is informed
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

Requirements

• College or technical school certification in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required
• At least 1 year of service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
• Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Valid driver's license preferred

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Pay

The pay range for this role is $22.00 - $53.48 per hour. Full-time associates are offered a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and more!

Schedule
