Service Technician
About the role
Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
- Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
Requirements
- For those without certification, Camping World will pay to certify individuals in relevant trade fields
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required
- Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Must furnish own hand/shop tools
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Valid driver's license preferred
Qualifications
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required

Pay
General Compensation Disclosure: The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. Pay Range $22.00-$53.71 Hourly
