Responsibilities
- Initiates gas service, performs leak investigations and makes repairs.
- Locates gas lines.
- Reads gas meters.
- Completes work order system documentation.
- Serves as First Responder in emergency situations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No previous experience needed.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
- Knowledge of industry and company safety standards and regulations.
- Basic mechanical tasks and use of proper tools.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations and other Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Completion of all occupational qualifications.
- Supervisory sign-off.
Skills
- Proficient using personal computers and software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
