Our service and field teams perform routine and heavy maintenance and ensure environmental compliance is met in each state. We provide everything a customer may need for their fueling and charging needs, including equipment, parts, expertise, and support. We achieve this success through our in-house, on-the-job training programs.

The Service Tech Trainee position is an entry-level role that provides training to advance your career. As a technician you will be trained and certified to do routine maintenance and troubleshooting on our customers' equipment. You will be required to attend training sessions which may be outside of the area you live in; training, lodging, and meals are all paid for by the company. Hours for this position may vary but you will work at least 40 hours a week, with overtime available. Most calls are completed during day shift; however, after training you will be put on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls for our customers at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities
• Complete all service call paperwork after each call
• Communicate with your service dispatcher and manager
• Explain technical issues in a non-technical manner to the customer
• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (such as Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett) and POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as VeriFone, Gilbarco, and NCR)
• Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State Issued Driver's License and good driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Daily local travel required
• Lifting 50–75 lbs
