Service Tech Trainee

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls for our customers.
• This could be at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities.
• Complete all service call paperwork after each call.
• Communicate with your service dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues in a non-technical manner to the customer.
• Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett) and POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
• Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.

Experience, Competencies and Education

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid State Issued Driver's License and good driving record.
• The ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• You will be required to pass a drug screen & background check for this position.
• Daily local travel.
• Lifting 50-75 lbs.
