About the role
This role is a hands-on technical position focused on maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen ventilation and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems
- Diagnose and repair rooftop ventilation units
- Work with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustments
- Deliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites
Requirements
- Strong electrical background with experience troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting
- Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systems
- Familiarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex issues
- Able to work independently in the field
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible schedule as needed
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights
- Willingness to travel within the region (company vehicle provided)
